Updates
10/7/2024: I haven't been able to find a better way to add a live feed of my Pokémon blog to my homepage, so for now I'm just going to add a link in the navigation bar in case any of you would like to keep up with my shenanigans. I will also be searching for an alternate way to share my shenanigans that don't involve editing or adding several unnecessary pages to this fan site, in the event that I am unable to do the live feed thing.
10/4/2024: Finally did a big update to the site layout! I used this layout builder to create the base, then changed the colors and images to make it more unique. If you are on Neocities, please let me know what you think!
I want to do a few more changes before I start any larger projects, notably: apply the layout code to the rest of the website (I haven't been able to figure out to make my own CSS layout...), take new photos of my team, and work on both of my sona's bios a bit. After that... well, I'm not exactly sure at the moment, though I do have plenty of ideas on what else I could add to this fan site!
8/23/2024: I have returned! Sorry for the silence, I wound up getting hyperfixated on a bunch of random hobbies and stuff. My Pokémon hyperfixation came back due to me recently starting my first playthrough of the hilarious "English" translation of Pokémon Green. I also plan on playing through "Vietnamese" Crystal after that, as well as working on this fan site, starting a few Pokémon-themed projects, finally designing both of my sonas, and HOPEFULLY starting on the Pokémon Adventures manga, so I'll definitely have a bunch of new things to talk about very soon!
12/15/2023: Well, I tried adding one of those RSS widget things to the Home page yesterday, and it is showing up, but it doesn't seem to be updating on its own for some reason? I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it, but until I find the problem I'll have to update it manually once a day or so. UPDATE: Apparently it IS supposed to work that way? I stepped away for a bit and when I came back I noticed a "refresh" button had come up. Which is nice because at first I thought I would be making new feeds that has the new posts, then deleting the old ones, at least once a day because I thought I messed something up.
12/14/2023: Not exactly a site update, but I got my Tumblr blog started. It's called Anora's Pokéblog. I made an intro post to get it started, but I won't be posting anything else until I'm done customizing it, and once I figure out how to make one of those website feed widget things, I will add it to the Home page.
Also, I will be deleting my WordPress blog after all, so I am removing the link from the update I put it in.
12/9/2023: I immediately screwed something up with my WordPress blog, and despite somehow managing to fix it, I am having way too much trouble figuring out how to use it, so I will be using Tumblr instead. Once I start the blog and post a few things, I will add a feed of some sort to this page. I will also be moving this section and the To-Do List below to their own pages soon, and will add new links to them for anyone who may want to keep up with them.
12/7/2023: I had to take a break so my brain wouldn't be fried from looking at all this HTML and CSS stuff. While I was away, I thought more about how I wanted to share my adventures, and I think if I can find a way to have some kind of live blog feed displayed on this page, that may make things a LOT easier for me. I know you can do something similar with Twitter/X, but I REFUSE to go back to that place. I will post another update once I figure everything out. UPDATE: I'm giving Wordpress a shot. It's a little confusing, but so far I like where things are going. -LINK REMOVED-
11/18/2023: I went ahead and added a couple more pages. They are linked at the top of every page, but they currently only have short descriptions of what they are for. I will add actual content to them later.
11/14/2023: I added two new pages: About Me and Meet the Team! Meet the Team is still a work-in-progress, but it won't take me much longer to finish it. -LINKS REMOVED-
11/13/2023: I added a SoundCloud music player to see if I got this whole "embedding" thing correct. If it works, I plan on leaving it there for a bit so I can remember how I did it.
